The Priest became such an iconic character. Crazy to think how many years ago they've managed to make them look so believable. Somebody should probably be working on a PG13 remake by now.
I'm guessing that's why the reboot is having trouble taking off...all Hollywood is interested in producing are light PG-13 horror films and Hellraiser and PG-13 just don't go hand in hand. If they reboot this, it needs to be a hard 'R'.
