When I was a kid I wanted to be a stormtrooper, but I really had to grow up in order to become one.

Thanks for showing us how making movies was great once. I wonder what kind of "behind the scenes" will people watch for today's movies 20 years from now. Probably some documentary about how programmers made CGI effects...

Sergei: I hear ya cosplayer!

Odenat: Yeah, film making was a lot more artistic back in the day, so much work involved and the end result was 100% more "real", more tangible. The behind the scenes pics of today's science fiction films are all about people acting in front of a green screen, which is sad. I prefer old school film making, and by the way, so did actors. They could definitely get more into their roles doing their thing within a real set. A pity. But the good news is some films are still being made like this, like for example Star Wars: The Force Awakens. They built a lot of real sets for that one.

This is not cosplaying, this is my service to the Emperor.

I cant believe those pictures were taken 36 years ago in 1979, it doesn`t seem possible.

With so much apparent horsing around on the set its amazing any of them were able to keep straight faces in order to get their scenes completed ! ! !.
