Thanks for showing us how making movies was great once. I wonder what kind of "behind the scenes" will people watch for today's movies 20 years from now. Probably some documentary about how programmers made CGI effects...
Odenat: Yeah, film making was a lot more artistic back in the day, so much work involved and the end result was 100% more "real", more tangible. The behind the scenes pics of today's science fiction films are all about people acting in front of a green screen, which is sad. I prefer old school film making, and by the way, so did actors. They could definitely get more into their roles doing their thing within a real set. A pity. But the good news is some films are still being made like this, like for example Star Wars: The Force Awakens. They built a lot of real sets for that one.
When I was a kid I wanted to be a stormtrooper, but I really had to grow up in order to become one.

This is not cosplaying, this is my service to the Emperor.
ReplyDeleteI cant believe those pictures were taken 36 years ago in 1979, it doesn`t seem possible.
ReplyDeleteAhhh...Carrie around the time of her 23rd birthday, what a gorgeous little darlin` she was.
ReplyDeleteWith so much apparent horsing around on the set its amazing any of them were able to keep straight faces in order to get their scenes completed ! ! !.
