David B: I believe he is a graphic illustrator from Poland named Grzegorz Domaradzki, he has made quite a few of these for various films. He calls them "Vector Movie Posters", this one for Mulholland Drive is just one of many. Go to this link for more of his work:
Wow really digging some of the "Mulholland Drive" and "Lost Highway" posters. Like you said, they really seem to capture the feel of the movie better than the studio ones. Although I really love the "Lost Highway" black and white studio poster. Just darn cool looking.
That painted "Elephant Man" poster is going to give me nightmares! That looks like a much better fit for "Eraserhead" to me.
Any idea who made that first Mulholland Drive poster?
ReplyDeleteI love the poster for Dune. They should use that for the Blu-Ray special edition.

Maurice: Agree, it's awesome, some of these fan made posters are sometimes better than the ones issued by the studios themselves!
