The appropriate vehicle can mean everything when your surviving in a post apocalyptic world; it means you can leave those bloodthirsty cannibals behind to eat your dust, or it can help you escape that colony of mutants you happened to come across in your travels across the wasteland. Which reminds me, the vehicles that appear on these post-apocalyptic movies are part of what makes them so much fun to watch! On this blogpost you'll find cars that have appeared on all sorts of post apocalyptic films, hope you enjoy it!
Stellar post of some fine images including the underrated terminator salvation. Enjoyed it!
ReplyDeleteYeah I also think Terminator Salvation is underrated. It gets a lot of heat, I dug it more than most, but I still hate the ending as much as everyone else. Still, these terminator motorcycles where too cool to pass up for this post!
ReplyDeleteThe ending was rough I agree, but I do like the boduy of the film quite a lot. I love the cycles! Right there w you.
ReplyDeleteI'm going to be reviewing Terminator Salvation before this whole post-apocalyptic shebang is over (because it's the one that's most post apocalyptic of all) but honestly there are moments of it that truly rock as far as the whole Terminator franchise goes.
ReplyDeleteDid you notice how I put the car from "The Last Man on Earth" on there, he, he, it's easy to spot cause it's the only black and white one in there.
Man last night I was watching The Fist of the North Star and they had some pretty snazzy motorcycles on that one, I'll see if I can add them.
What movie is that with the tank with 12 wheels?
ReplyDeleteYou're probably talking about Damnation Alley (1977) a post apocalyptic film about these people driving around in this super cool tank, finding all sorts of deadly things, like killer roaches!
