Post Apocalyptic Poster Gallery

  1. Yes, you should definitely add Six String Samurai.

Nice collection of posters. Got to say even though they are probably the weaker films the Italian rip-offs like After the Fall of New York and New Barbarians are the ones I'd want hanging on my walls. They are so vibrant and comic-book-y.

  2. Release the Kraken! Nice.

There's a good handful of film in there I'd like to see one day.

A Boy And His Dog. The Postman. The Quiet Earth. These are films that have been high on my list.

    A splendid gallery Franco!

  3. @Manuel Marrero: I'll be reviewing Six String Samurai next week.

@Jack: This is true for most Italian Rip Offs: the poster is better than the movie. I agree, the movies might such, but I wouldnt mind having these posters on my walls.

I'll be reviewing some of these Italian rip offs during the next couple of days, hope you enjoy my Post Apocalyptic theme! It will be running for a while, which means it will go on until I decide to change the channel.

The Sci Fi Fanatic: Thanks Sff, hope you enjoy the Post Apocalyptic films I will be reviewing in the next couple of months...also: there is a special collaboration in the works, I think you will enjoy! ;) It'll be a huge blog post on Post Apocalyptic films....look for it come next week! It's going to be special, I got to collaborate with some truly special bloggers! It's gonna be a nuclear blast!

  5. Your right RVChris! I saw that one wow, way back in 1988, it was low budget city! But it had a cool enough poster, I've added it to the gallery, along with a couple more I had left out, check em out, and enjoy!

  6. I remember seeing A Boy and his Dog on cable when I was a kid. Very weird film I'd like to check it out again. Def Con 4's ad's on TV where very striking, always wanted to see it, but never did.

  7. @Prof. Oblivion: Everyone keeps referring to A Boy and His Dog as a "weird" movie, can't wait to see what it's all about.

AS for DefCon 4, I saw it years ago, but I wouldn't recommend it. It's not that entertaining, or even unintentionally funny like these Italian rip offs, it's just bad. But hey, if you do get to check it out, dont forget to let me know what you think!
