I'll see if I can catch it before Halloween is over, thanks for the suggestion. I reviewed that one a couple of years ago for a Werewolf blog a thon thing I did! I remembered what you said about violence and sex with Franco, so of course, I completely got it when he cameos as Mammet, the dude who tortures girls by having sex with them before he kills them.

Jimmie: Yeah, tragic in deed! Soledad Miranda had just signed to do a series of films, she would have gone on to become a bigger star. So sad, she was truly beautiful, she's one of the stand out elements that make Vampyros Lesbos such watchable.

Jervaise: I'll defenetly get down to watching more Franco films at some point. Actually, I hadn't seen so much nudity in a vampire film since Tobe Hooper's Lifeforce, where Matilda May is naked through out the entire movie!

Abdul666: Definetly man, I loved Fascination and Living Dead Girl, check out my reviews for them. I failed to mention them on my review, but they certainly rank pretty high up, I was transfixed by The Living Dead Girl....that ending....wowzers!

Franco Macabrohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10994905312221715861noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8293273378239831747.post-79981528996567003222013-10-22T04:26:19.708-07:002013-10-22T04:26:19.708-07:00Bram Stoker’s novel but with lesbian vampires: a s...Bram Stoker’s novel but with lesbian vampires: a synthesis of Dracula and Carmilla!

Could not some of Jean Rollin's movies also rank rather high in the Lesbian Vampires category?abdul666https://www.blogger.com/profile/16172686098173637906noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8293273378239831747.post-25384068594517643912013-10-21T18:57:04.973-07:002013-10-21T18:57:04.973-07:00Francisco, time perhaps for Franco's laughably...Francisco, time perhaps for Franco's laughably unwatchable 1972 abomination "The Female Vampire" with the truly astonishing 18 year-old Lina Romay, the bird is naked for most of the film and is indeed the ONLY reason for watching the movie...BUT WHAT A REASON...WOW ! ! !.jervaise brooke hamsternoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8293273378239831747.post-27110047245220526092013-10-21T18:51:02.958-07:002013-10-21T18:51:02.958-07:00Principal photography took place between June 1st ...Principal photography took place between June 1st and July 10th 1970, Soledad Miranda celebrated her 27th birthday on July 9th a day before filming wrapped, its such a shame that only 5 weeks later on August 18th the bird snuffed it in a car crash. When the film was released in July 1971 the bird had already been gone for almost a year. Its similar to what happened to Francoise Dorleac who also snuffed it in a car crash in June 1967 just 3 months after the release of her cult classic "The Young Girls of Rochefort". Both birds were born around the same time and would`ve been around 70 if they were still alive today, as they should be. An odd and sad co-incidence, i think you`ll agree.jimmie t. murakaminoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8293273378239831747.post-28634824253118235302013-10-21T14:24:06.633-07:002013-10-21T14:24:06.633-07:00I certainly share your love for Daughters of Darkn...I certainly share your love for Daughters of Darkness.
