I will check it out soon though. So far, my favorite Wolverine storyline is still Weapon X, so awesome, so bloody and entertaining, if only the previous film had stuck to this story more closely we would have ended up with a far better Wolverine origin film. Like you, I still haven't see...Awesome one man. Like you, I still haven't seen this. Too many films and not enough time. This one was never a top priority for me. And I'm glad you picked up on the whole Mangold thing. I feel the same way. No distinct style to speak of and when I heard he was directing, I got nervous. It looks alright for the most part, but looks like it could have looked a helluva lot cooler in someone else's hands. But you make a good point. While not the most visually interesting director, he does pull out the best possible performances from his actors. Walk the Line is a prime example. Hell, even Cruise was badass in the subpar Knight and Day. This should be hitting DVD soon over here. I think since I've waited this long already, I'll just wait a little longer to watch it at home.

I've also been a comic collector since he mid 80's, and remember this storyline by Frank Miller well. Hell, my local comic shop has one of these issues prominently displayed on their wall behind the counter. I was so glad to hear that they were going to tackle this storyline. robotGEEKhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00355070295108163031noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8293273378239831747.post-24416487046919696632013-08-27T14:00:43.621-07:002013-08-27T14:00:43.621-07:00For me it was way better than I expected, I guess ...For me it was way better than I expected, I guess it was because I already went in with low expectations, but honestly, I thought it was a good Wolverine movie, hope you enjoy it Maurice.

And yeah, I'm looking forward to seeing what Synger will make of the X-Men this time around, should be mind blowing since he will probably try and make a film that at least rivals The Avengers in terms of awesomeness...that film has become the film that all big comic book movies try to emulate. Here's hoping Days of Future past rocks!
