The arrogant side of Tarantino, yeah, that voice over narrator thing he did with his own voice was certainly a bit of that...but at the same time I kind of liked it, it felt even more like it was him telling us this tale, and he was going to tell it his way. I walked away not really being blown away like I was expecting to, but as I sat on it for a few days, and kept playing it over in my head, I got to really like it more and more. It's definitely his most "talky" film, which I think threw me off and a lot of my friends too. Some of them fell asleep in the theater. LOL.
